Hi, I'm Sasha. I was raised in Ukraine and Germany and came to Utah to study at the University of Utah. I met my partner in (spa) crime, Catherine, as an engineer working in medical devices. Over six years of sharing work and parenting stresses, we became great friends. Seeking relief, we decided to treat ourselves to a spa together and loved the results. After experiencing an authentic Korean scrub with my husband in Asia, I was blown away by how great my skin felt afterward. My husband didn't particularly care to gush with me so I told Catherine how much I'd loved it and something clicked. Catherine, with her first-generation Korean background, was familiar with the treatment and we both immediately saw its potential in Utah, where such spas were non-existent. Combining our experiences and cultural insights, we decided to start Seshin to offer a unique and modern spa experience in Utah.
